About Me

Hey, I’m Kenji — a data engineer with 7+ years working on everything from fixing broken pipelines to building big ETLs that (hopefully) don’t crash at 3 AM.

I’ve spent most of my career wrangling data, optimizing Spark jobs, and mentoring early-stage engineers. But outside of code, I’m just as happy reading manga, watching anime, playing VR, or trying to understand the world a little better.

This blog is a mix of all that: stories from my career, thoughts on life and tech, small personal experiments, and whatever else helps me grow — even if it’s just figuring out how to write more openly.

I started this space mostly for me: to document my journey, reflect on what I’m learning, and see where all these commits and reasons take me. If you’re into data, new challenges, or just thinking out loud about work and life, welcome.
